Synnex Australia has upgraded its warehouse lighting with Delta’s Staccato LED high-bay luminaires.

348 Staccato LED lights replaced around 396 existing fittings which were used in their warehouse for the last two decades.  The switch to Staccato LED’s makes it a cost efficient and sustainable option to light the Oakleigh South based warehouse.  It is projected that 50 -60% in lighting costs will be saved compared to their previous lighting spend and 4400 tonnes of C02 will be saved during the life of the program.

Aston Ma of Synnex said “switching from halogen lighting to LED lighting was a smart decision. The challenge was deciding which LED supplier and solutions to use. We have been carrying the Delta UPS range for over a year, it makes good sense to go with the products of a company we already trust”.

Aston also said that their electricity bills are noticeably lower and the warehouse now looks and feels brighter which has been especially obvious during recent winter evenings.

In addition to improving the look and feel of the environment, by enhancing the lighting it also improves visibility for site safety.
